What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at Dizario Search?
Dizario Search is conducting a search for a Manufacturing Engineer for a custom manufacturing company near Kent, OH. This role will work closely between Engineering and Production to support new product launches, ensure accurate manufacturing documentation, and drive process improvements on the shop floor.
Responsibilities:
- Support new product introductions from design through first run
- Ensure the accuracy of BOMs, drawings, routings, and documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements in fabrication and assembly
- Recommend and support tooling and fixture development to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Assist with product certification requirements when needed (UL, CE)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering or process improvement role
- Experience working with multiple materials (steel, plastics, etc.)
- Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks or AutoCAD preferred)
- ERP experience is helpful
- Strong communication and ability to work with both engineering and shop floor teams
