Clear Path Construction Advisors at DIY Resource Center is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Field Technician to join our team in Fresno CA. This role is the primary boots-on-the-ground position, responsible for capturing the critical data and site intelligence required to guide our clients through successful projects.
The ideal candidate bridges the gap between technical construction knowledge and high-level client service, ensuring every project begins with a solid foundation of accurate information.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Lead on-site meetings to gather project requirements and establish a professional rapport with clients.
- Process Education: Clearly explain company procedures, workflows, and project phases to clients to ensure transparency and manage expectations.
- Site Intelligence: Conduct thorough site walkthroughs to capture precise measurements and "intel" required for client profiles.
- Assessment & Estimation: Identify potential site constraints to support the creation of comprehensive risk assessments and accurate project estimates.
- Data Management: Document all findings with a high degree of accuracy for the internal advisory team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of three years in the construction industry or a closely related field is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills. You must be able to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language for clients.
- Math Skills: Proficient in basic mathematics, including geometry and arithmetic, for accurate on-site scaling and measurements.
- Driving Record: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
