What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Dixson & Davis LLP?
We are seeking a tax-focused CPA, near CPA, or someone with equivalent public or private accounting experience with a minimum of three years of public accounting experience to join our Eugene, Oregon firm. This role focuses on tax work, but a wide range of skills are utilized. Tax experience with corporate, partnership, trust, estate, and nonprofits will be helpful. We are a locally owned public accounting firm, providing bookkeeping, accounting, tax and consulting services. There is a future partnership opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities include preparing complex business returns, fiduciary and individual tax returns and completing tax planning and research supporting the returns. We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, with at least three years of public accounting experience. Priority will be given to candidates with a CPA license. Additionally, excellent technical skills, strong communication skills, advanced computer skills and an attitude of service are necessary.
