In this essential role, you will help ensure efficient production by managing materials, collecting machined parts, and supporting machine operations throughout the department.

What You'll Do
- Make hourly rounds to collect machined parts from multi‑spindle screw machines
- Remove and replace chip bowls at designated intervals
- Collect and dispose of machining scrap at the end of each shift
- Operate parts washers and metal chip processing equipment
- Assist with basic cleaning and maintenance of machines as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with employees on the manufacturing floor
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Operate a forklift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs over the course of a shift
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred, but not required
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn and support a team-oriented environment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
