The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities with the Thermosets segment, and providing technical solutions from the company’s product portfolio. This role combines in-depth chemical knowledge with a focus on sales and business development, ensuring that clients receive both technical and commercial support. The ideal candidate combines deep chemical knowledge with proven business development skills to provide tailored solutions, achieve revenue targets and strengthen market presence.
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue in Thermosets, Coatings, and Adhesives markets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities; expand existing accounts.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that meet profitability goals.
Account Management
- Manage and grow key accounts; serve as primary client contact.
- Understand customer objectives and provide customized solutions.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review projects and identify growth opportunities.
Technical Consultation
- Apply chemistry expertise to advise on product applications and performance.
- Collaborate with customer R&D and production teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Provide technical sales support to demonstrate product value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams (R&D, Marketing, Production) to align on customer needs.
- Share customer feedback to guide product development.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity.
- Conduct market and technical analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5–10 years of relevant sales, technical, business development experience in thermoset composites, coatings, adhesives, resins, and/or specialty chemicals.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of chemical formulations and applications
