We are seeking a safe, dependable, and customer-focused Seasonal Fuel Delivery Drivers to join our team. You will be working from roughly October/November to March/April depending on the weather. This position is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of petroleum products to residential and commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tanker truck in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Deliver fuel products to customer locations accurately and efficiently
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload petroleum products following company safety procedures
- Complete delivery tickets, logs, and required paperwork accurately
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding deliveries and route changes
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license
- Tanker endorsement required
- HazMat endorsement required (or ability to obtain within specified timeframe)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Experience operating tanker trucks preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Fuel or propane delivery experience
- Ability to drive a manual transmission with splitter
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and fuel handling procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to enter and exit truck cab multiple times per shift
