Job Title: Workday Conversion Consultant (Technical)
Location: Irving, TX (Onsite/Hybrid as required) Locals only

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Conversion Consultant (Technical) to support data conversion activities for Workday implementations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday data migration, ETL processes, and integration tools. This role will work closely with functional consultants, HR teams, and technical stakeholders to extract, transform, and load legacy data into Workday while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute data conversion activities for Workday implementation projects.
- Analyze legacy HR, Payroll, Finance, or ERP systems and map data to Workday structures.
- Design and develop ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data into Workday.
- Build and maintain Workday EIBs, Workday Studio integrations, and Workday APIs for data migration.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
- Create and maintain data mapping documents, conversion strategies, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to validate business requirements and data structures.
- Execute mock conversions, testing cycles, and production data loads.
- Troubleshoot data conversion issues and implement solutions.
- Support integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-go-live data validation.
- Ensure adherence to data governance and security policies.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in Workday technical implementations or data conversions.
- Strong experience with Workday EIB, Workday Studio, Workday APIs, and integration tools.
- Hands-on experience with data migration and ETL processes.
- Experience converting data from legacy systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, ADP, or other HRIS platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL, XML, XSLT, and data transformation tools.
- Strong understanding of Workday data structures (HCM, Payroll, Finance, etc.).
- Experience supporting multiple conversion cycles and reconciliation processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in full-cycle Workday implementations.
- Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, or Financials modules.
- Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security standards.
- Workday Integration or Technical certification is a plus.
