We’re an established specialty retail tea company seeking a detail-oriented Office Administrator & Fulfillment Assistant to support daily operations in our retail and eCommerce environment. This position is ideal for someone who loves organization, accuracy, and variety in their workday.
About the Role
You’ll be the hub of communication between customers, vendors, and the store team. The right person will manage administrative tasks, handle customer orders, and ensure that every shipment leaving our store is accurate. This is not a gig for someone looking for less responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming customer orders from online and retail sales
- Print daily orders and prepare shipping labels accurately
- Cross train to fulfill and package customer orders (weighing, labeling, and boxing)
- Cross train in cashiering, fulfilling walk in customer orders
- Track and order vendor supplies and packaging materials
- Oversee email communication with customers and vendors
- Organize paper and digital files
- Run inventory and sales audits using our software system
- Customer service on the phone and in store
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent follow-through
- Comfortable moving between office tasks and hands-on fulfillment work
- Computer-savvy with confidence using spreadsheets, POS, or inventory software.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic office equipment such as a jammed computer
- Min 5 years of previous experience as an office administrator in a retail environment. Order fulfillment, or shipping/receiving is a plus but will train
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for periods of time
