Position Summary
Divine Logic is hiring an Engineering Supervisor to lead, mentor, and oversee our Network Engineering operation. This role is responsible for technical quality, engineering standards, project execution, and the professional development of all staff.
The Engineering Supervisor is a hands on technical leader who balances architecture level thinking with people leadership. This position is accountable for ensuring engineering work is designed correctly, implemented cleanly, documented thoroughly, and aligned with Divine Logic standards and client expectations. The Engineering Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for technical excellence, engineering maturity, and long-term scalability of Divine Logic's managed services operation.

· Take ownership of technical outcomes, not just delegation
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervise and review technical activities conducted by staff
· Review architecture designs, firewall configurations, network layouts, and system builds
· Serve as the final technical escalation point for complex engineering issues
· Ensure engineering work meets Divine Logic quality and security standards
· Mentor engineers through technical guidance and structured development
· Oversee execution of projects and major changes
· Ensure accurate estimates, timelines, and technical alignment
· Maintain and evolve engineering SOPs, templates, and standards
· Identify and reduce technical debt across client environments
· Partner closely with the MSP Supervisor to align service delivery and execution
· Support vCIO initiatives, roadmap planning, and client strategy sessions
· Assist with compliance initiatives (HIPAA, PCI, cyber-insurance questionnaires)
· Participate in vendor evaluations and technical decision making
· Assist with hiring, onboarding, and promotion decisions
· Address performance issues and support improvement plans
· Build a culture of mentorship, documentation, and ownership
Experience:
- 7 years of progressive IT engineering experience
- 5 years in an MSP or multi-client environment
- 3 years in a senior, lead, or supervisory engineering role
- Proven experience reviewing and approving other's work
· Strong hands-on experience with:
o Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
o Microsoft 365 and Azure AD / Entra ID
o Virtualization platforms and backup/DR solutions
o Network fundamentals (VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, routing concepts)
· Ability to assess and guide network and systems architecture (not just execute)
· Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship ability
· Clear, confident communication with leadership
· Strong judgment, accountability, and decision-making skills
· Ability to enforce standards consistently and professionally
· Familiarity with change management incident response
· Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administration customization
Education
- 4-year degree
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Relevant industry certifications (CompTIA Network , Security , or equivalent)
