Job Description:
Divine Logic is hiring a Network Engineer to design, secure, and support multi tenant SMB environments across the Fresno/Clovis area. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning projects end to end, mentoring teammates, and continuing to grow technically in a structured, team-oriented MSP environment.
The Network Engineer plays a key role in client infrastructure stability, security, and scalability, working closely with internal teams and leadership to deliver well-documented, reliable solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Assists and supports network engineering supervision to strategize and implement policy and procedures while maintaining company philosophies.
- Collaborate with technical team members to assess near and long term network capacity needs while designing and implementing strategic plans to maintain existing and future network requirements.
- Oversee systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and providing expert support as necessary
- Perform health checks on all Client network infrastructure devices and equipment including but not limited to servers, routers, switches, WLAN controllers, firewalls, power, proxies, etc.
- Administer the LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VLAN networks in a Microsoft environment
- Receive and respond to incoming Client user requests regarding issues relating to equipment, software, connectivity, and/or other problems.
- Accurately document instances of software or hardware failure, repair, installation, removal, or other work requests.
- Understanding and implementation of network security according to HIPAA standards and established best practices.
- Responsible for company firewalls, proxy, and content filtering systems.
- Ensure that company assets are maintained responsibly.

Skills:
Network engineering, troubleshooting, cloud, vmware, antivirus, wireless
- Experience and success with enterprise class LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN design, implementation and support.
- Ability to engineer routed, switched, and wireless networks.
- Must have strong working knowledge of the following:
- Windows Server
- Virtualization
- Strong knowledge of VPNs, DNS, network router, firewall policies, switch functionality and configurations.
- Must demonstrate the initiative to take ownership of large projects and work independently.
- Must have demonstrated strengths in, planning and organization of materials and tools skills.
- Strong written documentation skills.
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with HIPPA regulations and compliance laws.
- Able to quickly build and maintain rapport with Clients

Education:
- 4-year degree
Required License/Certifications:
- Possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
- CompTIA A
- CompTIA Network
- CompTIA Security
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years' industry experience equivalent to that of a network engineer
- MSP experience supporting multiple SMB clients
- Strong networking fundamentals: routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, wireless
- Firewall experience (Fortinet, Palo Alto, SonicWall, or similar)
- Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP fundamentals
- PowerShell or scripting experience preferred
- Strong documentation habits and PSA usage
- Client communication skills and SLA awareness
