Position Summary
We are hiring a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist to join our growing care team.
This position may be in person, fully remote, or hybrid, and is ideal for therapists seeking flexibility, meaningful clinical work, and the ability to integrate their Christian faith into therapy when welcomed by the client.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with individuals, couples, and families, with a special interest in supporting marriages, addressing relational conflict, and helping couples pursue healthier patterns of communication, connection, and restoration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families across Minnesota
- Support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, marital conflict, relational stress, family dynamics, and life transitions
- Complete thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state guidelines
- Attend team meetings and participate in optional trainings and case consultations
- Integrate biblical principles and prayer when welcomed by the client
- Collaborate with a supportive, faith-driven team
- Participate in optional development related to Divine Life’s Christian marriage coaching model
Qualifications
- Active LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, or LP license in the state of Minnesota required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in outpatient or private practice settings
- Experience or interest in marriage, couples, and family counseling strongly preferred
- Comfortable working remotely and using telehealth platforms
- Alignment with Christian values and Divine Life’s mission
- Strong clinical skills in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, marital conflict, communication issues, and family systems
- Compassionate, humble, and collaborative
- Willing to work at least 2 evenings per week, with flexible scheduling options
