About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, safety-minded individual to join our motor coach transportation team as a Driver Trainer. This role works closely with our Safety Manager and Safety Coordinator to train drivers, reinforce compliance standards, and support daily operations. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in safe, professional transportation practices.
Responsibilities:
- Train drivers on company safety standards, policies, and procedures
- Conduct safety ride-alongs with drivers to observe and evaluate compliance
- Work closely with the Safety Manager and Safety Coordinator to identify training needs and address safety concerns
- Transfer buses between locations as needed
- Pick up and drop off parts and supplies to support fleet maintenance if needed
- Assist management with a variety of daily operational tasks
Qualifications:
- Experience with DOT/FMCSA safety regulations required
- Prior experience conducting ride-alongs or safety audits required
- CDL required
- Passenger Endorsement a plus
- Clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable with a flexible schedule and occasional physical tasks (loading parts, etc.)
