Job Description:
The Senior Accountant Fixed Assets is responsible for supporting the preparation of financial statements, maintaining fixed asset accounting processes, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role plays a key part in strengthening internal controls, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement across accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Record and validate journal entries related to fixed assets and general ledger activity.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset subledgers and related financial systems.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and corporate teams.
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and analysis.
- Drive process improvements and automation within accounting workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business (Accounting concentration preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- CPA or CPA-eligible is strongly preferred
- Experience in fixed assets accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
