1st Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:40am - 3:10pm
2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday | 2:40pm - 11:10pm
3rd Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday | 10:40pm - 7:10am
Position Description
This position is responsible for performing color/quality inspections along with some sub-assemble of part to ensure the overall quality and assembly meets part and customer specification. This position will also package these products according to customer requirements and packaging.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure safety procedures are always followed and immediately report unsafe working conditions or mechanical safety problems to the Team Leader, Senior Team Leader, or Department Specialist
- Understanding of the product, knowing the function of the product, and any potential product defects that can adversely affect the function, application, or overall quality of the product
- Perform the required color/quality visual inspections
- Keep accurate documentation during the production run
- Inspect parts during the production run and in product containers throughout the shift
- Properly package and handle the production per the assigned manufacturing specification
- Accurately record scrap and place the scrap in the proper containers by working station
- Assist in the performance of machine startups and shutdowns to keep machine downtime to a minimum
- Keep the workstation clean and neat at all times by utilizing 5S practices
- Comply with company and safety guidelines
- Perform other duties that may assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Preferred experience in manufacturing environment
- Able to be trained on use of mobile equipment
- Organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and information
