GENERAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The position will be responsible for successfully executing multiple rail maintenance and construction equipment projects with a portfolio value of greater than $10M annually and durations ranging from less than one to multiple years. The Project Manager leads the integration of engineering, manufacturing, procurement and other supporting teams to successfully execute contract requirements profitably. The Project Manager directly engages with customer counterparts and a cross functional team to positively manage relationships. This position requires a leader with a proven track record of both managing complex manufacturing projects and the ability to create and implement business process improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will include the following, but other duties may be assigned:
- Execute the full project management life cycle from initiation to closeout for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop and manage project budgets, estimates to complete and provide project performance data driving revenue and cash forecasts.
- Develop and manage project schedules including cross-team logic linked tasks.
- Coordinate project execution among all involved teams and collaborate with functional leadership to address project needs.
- Proactively identify and manage plans for project risks, issues and opportunities.
- Communicate project status regarding schedule, cost, deliverables, risks, issues and opportunities internally and externally.
- Capture and share lessons learned to improve business portfolio performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year degree
- PMP certification
- Minimum of 3 years leading cross-functional teams on design and manufacturing projects.
- Ability to support occasional travel both international and/or domestic (< 10%).

- Project financial performance reporting
- Presentation creation and delivery for multiple levels of audience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
