What are the responsibilities and job description for the Referral Specialist position at Diversity Health Center, Inc?
POSITION SUMMARY
To provide superior quality, competitive value and outstanding service by assuming responsibility for the overall patient/family experience as it relates to processing physician referrals, calling insurance companies to confirm patient eligibility and submit pre-authorization if necessary, and scheduling patient appointments for the treatment or new health care provider.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a High School Diploma/GED. Previous healthcare experience required. BLS certification
