How You’ll Contribute
The purpose of the Video Production Technician I is to support the Studio team with coordination and execution of a variety of daily webcasts, live event productions, and remote location videography to meet our client’s communications needs. Under the direction of the Producer/Director, interact with internal and external clients, studio teammates and external supplier personnel for the successful completion of all video production projects.
This role is on-site, based in Midland, MI.

What You’ll Do
Provide technical support for all webcast and live productions under the direction of the on-site Producer/Director.
Duties To Include
- supporting the Director, Producer, Technical Director, and other production personnel before, during, and after live productions and webcasts with equipment preparation, asset gathering, operation, strike, and cleanup.
- Operation of field A/V equipment at various locations.
- Operation of field and studio camera equipment.
- Acting subject matter experts on studio best practices and components such as signal flow and teleprompting.
- Work alongside the engineering group to implement and test changes to the studio environment.
- Act and dress professionally and be comfortable working with the highest levels of an executive team.
What You’ll Bring
Education & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4 Year degree in Broadcast Production, Multi-Media, is preferred
- Experience in live video production, broadcast and video capture.
- Must possess a general understanding of video production workflows
- Demonstrated strength in technical troubleshooting
- The ability to remain calm under pressure.
- 2-4 Years AV – Studio Video Production field production experience.
- Ability to capture, maintain, and edit video footage at a professional level.
