Senior Locate Supervisor

Job Purpose/Summary:

To support Locate Department Manager in running day-to-day operations, work with regional supervisors, lead techs, locators in carrying out objectives set for the department.

Responsible for the productivity, safety, training, and actions of the regional supervisors, leads, and locators within the department. Senior Locate Supervisor will ensure that all company policies, procedures and directives are adhered to at the highest possible standard.

Job Functions:

·      Responsible to manage all primary & secondary functions for multiple regionally placed locate teams.

·      Conduct quality control audits as directed by Department Manager

·      Oversee all damage investigations and conduct root cause mapping reports.

·      Coaching, training & career development of all direct reports within the department.

·      Enforce compliance of all company policies & procedures of all direct reports

·      Provide exceptional customer service to both internal & external customers

·      Moral & ethical role model in all business interactions

·      Assist on all problematic locates

·      Manage staff time off requests

·      Meet job site safety guidelines

·      Maintain company issued vehicles/equipment

·      Ability to perform jobs in the absence of staff

·      Must have and maintain a clean DVIR

·      Maintain company issued vehicle

·      Meet Safety Guidelines

·      Effectively and proactively manage through all extraordinary circumstances

·      Continually strive to meet objectives as defined & set by your manager

Work Environment, Physical Demands:

·      Ability to work in all-weather / conditions and terrain

·      Prolonged walking, sitting, and standing

·      Occasional Travel

·      Occasional Long Hours

Minimum Required Qualifications:

·      Highly Technically adept with all Utility Locate Equipment.

·      Strong Troubleshooting skills

·      Strong Conflict Resolution Skills

·      RTK knowledge and experience Preferred

·      Ability to lift, push, pull or drag min. 85lbs.

·      Must have valid Colorado Driver License & clean MVR

·      Minimum 5 years locate experience
