The Branch Manager supports the Senior Branch Manager in overseeing daily branch operations, ensuring exceptional member service, and maintaining compliance with credit union policies and procedures. This role assists with coaching, training, and developing branch staff to foster a high-performing, service-focused culture while monitoring performance and supporting consultative sales success to ensure consistent service excellence. In partnership with the Senior Branch Manager, the Branch Manager helps implement branch goals, supports business development efforts, and contributes to overall operational efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, service excellence, and compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
· Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to branch staff to foster a high-performing, motivated, and service-focused team aligned with branch and credit union goals.
· Support staff development through ongoing training, mentoring, and cross-training initiatives that promote flexibility, efficiency, operational readiness, and increased product knowledge.
· Manage time and attendance, scheduling, time-off requests, and workload delegation to ensure consistent coverage and effective branch operations.
· Maintain thorough knowledge of credit union products, services, and policies to support member needs and promote team development.
· Lead and support branch sales, cross-selling, and member engagement strategies to achieve or exceed scorecard and performance goals.
· Build and maintain strong member relationships, addressing escalated or complex account concerns with professionalism and care.
· Collaborate with the Senior Branch Manager on strategic initiatives, operational goals, and process improvements.
· Ensure proper implementation of branch security measures, record retention, and adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
· Maintain a working knowledge of credit union systems, lending processes, and financial services to assist members and staff effectively.
· Represent the credit union in the community by fostering relationships and identifying opportunities for membership and deposit growth.
· Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and teamwork while responding constructively to feedback and maintaining a positive work environment.
· Assist in other areas of branch operations as directed by the Senior Branch Manager.
BSA COMPLIANCE:
Must uphold compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act, and related regulations. This includes member identification, monitoring high-risk accounts, reporting suspicious activity, and ensuring all compliance procedures are followed.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's degree in business administration preferred or related field
- Three or more years of leadership experience in a financial institution.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software applications.
- Ability to write reports and implement procedures.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and travel to other locations as needed.
- Ability to participate in community service to help promote the credit union during and after business hours
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
