Project/Marketing Coordinator

Diversified Marketing Strategies, Inc. is an award-winning marketing, publishing, event planning, and association management firm located in Crown Point, Indiana. We are a collaborative, fast-moving team that values initiative, adaptability, and professionalism.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project/Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of client projects, vendor coordination, and marketing initiatives. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and takes ownership of tasks from start to finish. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, clients are supported, and our brand presence continues to grow.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

PROJECT COORDINATION & EXECUTION

·        Track and manage active projects to ensure timely completion

·        Follow up with vendors and internal teams on deliverables

·        Support event logistics and coordination

MARKETING SUPPORT

·        Assist with social media content creation and scheduling

·        Create basic marketing materials using Canva or similar tools

·        Support ongoing marketing initiatives and brand awareness

CLIENT & VENDOR RELATIONS

·        Communicate professionally with clients and vendors

·        Support relationship-building through consistent follow-up and coordination

·        Ensure a high level of client satisfaction throughout project lifecycles

SKILLS/ABILITIES

·        Strong organizational and time management skills

·        Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite

·        Experience with Canva, social media platforms, or basic marketing tools preferred

·        Utilize technology to enhance project & job performance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

·        Must be able to lift 20 pounds at a time.

·        Ability to perform such activities as standing, bending, lifting, and walking

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

·        Associate's degree in a related field required or 2 years of experience in project coordination, marketing, events, or related experience required.

JOB TYPE/PAY/HOURS

·        Full-Time

·        $40,000 - $48,000 per year

·        Monday – Thursday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm

·        Friday 7:00 am – 11:00 am
