Shipping Window Clerk – Warehouse

Job Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Window Clerk to support daily warehouse shipping operations. This position serves as the main point of contact at the shipping window for drivers, carriers, warehouse team members, and internal departments. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to accurately process shipping paperwork while delivering professional service.

Key Responsibilities

· Check drivers in and out at the shipping window and provide clear dock or pickup instructions.

· Verify shipment information, load numbers, appointment times, carrier details, and documentation for accuracy.

· Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, manifests, labels, and related warehouse paperwork.

· Communicate with warehouse staff, supervisors, customer service, and carriers to coordinate freight flow and resolve shipping questions.

· Enter shipment updates, load status, and inventory movement into warehouse management or shipping systems.

· Monitor outbound shipment schedules and help ensure loads are processed accurately and on time.

· Maintain organized records of shipments, pickups, discrepancies, and carrier activity.

· Follow warehouse safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized shipping office/window area.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Prior warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, dispatch, or clerical experience preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review paperwork and data.

· Basic computer skills, including email, data entry, and Microsoft Office or similar systems.

· Ability to communicate professionally with drivers, carriers, and internal team members.

· Strong organization, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a busy warehouse environment.

· Experience with warehouse management systems, shipping software, or ERP systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the warehouse or shipping office as needed.

· Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and activity.

· May be required to lift, move, or handle paperwork, small packages, or shipping supplies.

Schedule and Compensation

· Job Type: Full-time

· Schedule: Mon - Fri, 6:00am – 3:00pm

· Pay: 21.00

· Work Location: Warehouse facility

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
