The Welder will be responsible for safely and efficiently supporting the well plugging and abandonment team in their operations by ensuring the precise and efficient welding of various metal components. Expertise in welding techniques, safety procedures, and attention to detail will be essential for success in the role. This position is based out of our Bridgeport, WV office and will support operations throughout West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Special focus will be placed on:
- Perform welding operations using a variety of techniques, including MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding.
- Weld together or repair metal components as per project specifications.
- Ensure welds meet quality and structural standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Prioritize safety at all times. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
- Select and prepare appropriate welding materials, including metals, alloys and filler rods.
- Cut, shape, and clean metal components as needed before welding.
- Safety handle, transport, and store welding materials and tools.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to accurately complete welding tasks.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments and repairs as needed. Ensure compliance with welding codes and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and maintenance of welding equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues for repair or replacement.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including rig managers and maintenance personnel, to coordinate work activities.
- Communicate and coordinate with supervisors to meet project deadlines.
- Other equipment operations support per management discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Welding certification or relevant qualifications.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding.
- Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.

- Must be able to move or traverse from one location on the job site to another. This includes the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, frequently positioning oneself (e.g., to stoop, kneel, or squat) to perform tasks, and occasionally ascend/descend (e.g., ladders or uneven terrain)
- Ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess driving operations effectively (either naturally or with corrective lenses).
- Ability to operate a 4X4 vehicle.
- Must be able to repetitively move or position feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, and back. Constantly operates, uses, and positions hands and fingers in performance of work
- Must be able to work atop elevated surfaces and traverse various heights
- Lifts or carries 135 lbs. or more, which falls into the "heavy" category (over 50 pounds).
- Frequently pushes and pulls with a maximum force of 80 ft./lbs.
- Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions and is exposed to varying environmental conditions, including well site conditions. The position requires the ability to perform tasks in physically demanding environments, encompassing the essential physical requirements and efforts outline
Driver Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
- This position involves operating a company vehicle for work-related travel or receiving a stipend for operating a personal vehicle for company use; adherence to all traffic laws and company vehicle policies is required.
- Candidates must be eligible to be insured under the company's vehicle insurance policy.
