We are seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to support our fixed assets, reserves, and capital projects accounting functions within a fast‑paced, public‑company environment. This role oversees a large, high‑volume portfolio of capital projects across multiple companies and divisions and plays a key role in delivering project‑level visibility and accurate financial statement reporting.

Special focus to be placed on:
- Own accounting for capital projects and fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset tracking.
- Support reserve‑related accounting tied to capital assets and long‑lived asset activity.
- Deliver project‑level reporting while ensuring reconciliation to the general ledger and financial statements.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month‑end and quarter‑end close.
- Support external financial reporting and audit requests in a public‑company environment.
- Execute and maintain SOX‑compliant controls over capital and fixed asset processes.
- Drive process improvement and automation using AI, Hyperion, BI, and ERP tools.
- Partner cross‑functionally with FP&A, Operations, Engineering, and IT.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of fixed asset and capital project accounting
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability
- CPA preferred (or active CPA candidate)
- Public company or public accounting experience
- Experience in asset‑intensive or multi‑entity environments
- Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
