The position also includes assisting with equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, focusing on the reliability of various mechanical and electrical equipment.

Special focus will be placed on:
- Analyze engine and compressor performance using portable analyzers.
- Help maintain historical records of equipment analysis for trend monitoring.
- Provide verbal and written reports on equipment health.
- Support troubleshooting and documenting maintenance activities.
- Recommend adjustments to improve compressor efficiencies.
- Monitor and analyze fuel consumption and emissions, making adjustments as needed.
- Help develop accurate compressor load curves.
- Assist in conducting root cause analysis investigations.
- Maintain and review oil analysis records.
- Perform emissions testing to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Train and share knowledge with other team members.
- Identify and deploy new technologies to improve equipment performance.
- Optimize equipment by identifying inefficiencies.
- Implement condition-based maintenance strategies using sensors and PLCs to monitor equipment health and predict failures.
- Assist in installing, programming, and troubleshooting equipment monitoring systems.
- Monitor and maintain sensors on compressors to ensure accurate data collection and system performance.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on compressor systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Technical or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a mechanical-related field (preferred).
- Some experience or coursework in analyzing equipment and rotating machinery, including reciprocating engines and compressors
- Experience with drive engines and electrical drive engines.
- Experience with both reciprocating and screw compressors.
- Experience with PLC programming and sensor integration (preferred).
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn about operations and maintenance of natural gas engines, electric motors, compressors, pumps, and other auxiliary equipment.
- Ability to interpret basic schematics and piping & instrument drawings (P&IDs).
- Proficient in using basic computer applications like Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Work safely in challenging environments (high temperature, noise, dust, industrial/oilfield locations).
- Execute job functions efficiently with supervision and prioritize activities to meet company needs.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Work well in a team, take direction from supervisors, prioritize work schedules, focus on details, and follow work rules.
- Be a self-starter and work independently when necessary.
- Manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to move or traverse from one location on the job site to another. This includes the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, frequently positioning oneself (e.g., to stoop, kneel, or squat) to perform tasks, and occasionally ascend/descend (e.g., ladders or uneven terrain)
- Ability to detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, and assess driving operations effectively (either naturally or with corrective lenses).
- Ability to operate a 4X4 vehicle.
- Must be able to repetitively move or position feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, and back. Constantly operates, uses, and positions hands and fingers in performance of work
- Must be able to work atop elevated surfaces and traverse various heights
- Lifts or carries 75 lbs. or more, which falls into the "heavy" category (over 50 pounds).
- Frequently pushes and pulls with a maximum force of 100 ft./lbs.
- Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions and is exposed to varying environmental conditions, including well site conditions. The position requires the ability to perform tasks in physically demanding environments, encompassing the essential physical requirements and efforts outline
Driver Requirements:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
- This position involves operating a company vehicle for work-related travel or receiving a stipend for operating a personal vehicle for company use; adherence to all traffic laws and company vehicle policies is required.
- Candidates must be eligible to be insured under the company's vehicle insurance policy.
