Experienced Mechanic for Rotating Equipment

Total Equipment Company is a division of DXP Enterprises and we are a constantly growing our business. Our St. Albans, WV location is currently looking for an experienced industrial equipment mechanic to join our service team.

Responsibilities:

• Trouble-shooting, repairing and rebuild various industrial rotating pieces of equipment such as pumps, air compressors and blowers
• Perform routine maintenance so our customers do not experience down time
• Use diagnostic tools to aid in troubleshooting
• Provide help to other mechanics on large equipment maintenance and repair jobs
• Perform quality inspections
• Complete clear and understandable work orders and other service paperwork
• Follow all rules and perform duties with safety in mind

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic of at least 5 years
• Knowledge of shop equipment and tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent written and verbal English communication
• Must pass background check and drug screening
