Job Title: Behavior Support Professional (BSP)

Position Type: Full-Time

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• PBSP Certification Preferred

BSP Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• BSP will develop habilitation programs, schedules, guidelines, and protocols for persons receiving services.
• BSP will provide DD6 training to staff in the areas of training programs, tentative schedules, diagnosis, health and safety, crisis plan, guidelines, Positive Behavior Support plans, and protocols. Support staff may need to be observed periodically to ensure proper supports and methods are utilized.
• BSP will develop, monitor, and update individualized habilitation plans to incorporate goals and assessment recommendations.
• BSP will complete monthly summaries based on data submitted via support staff. Analysis of summaries will be utilized to conduct further DD6 training and observations (if needed) and to prepare for IDT meeting in relation to progression and regression trends of prompting hierarchy needed for support. BSP will also complete a behavioral summary based on behavior data monthly.
• BSP will continue to conduct all assessments needed to ensure person centered planning is embedded within training programs as well as reflecting needs and abilities.
• BSP will conduct assessments and observations in order to develop FBAs and Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• BSP will provide behavioral interventions if necessary.
• BSP will attend all IPPS and critical junctures, as a member of the client’s IDT, and develop recommendations for each IPP.
• BSP will serve as a respondent at annual Kepro assessments, and develop a summary based on ICAP, ABAS II, and ECA scores.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
