Shipping/Receiving Specialist – 1st Shift
Sunlite Plastics – Germantown, WI
Sunlite Plastics, a division of Diversatek, Inc., has an exciting Production Team Member opportunity in our Medical Tubing Division in Wisconsin. We are a plastics extrusion company that provides custom tubing to medical markets.
Responsibilities
- Assemble orders, complete packing slips and other shipping documentation
- Processing for packages that ship via UPS or FedEx
- Communicate with customer service to resolve shipping issues
- Train back-up shippers
- Control processing of in-bound and out-bound trucks
- Maintain cleanliness of shipping dock and warehouse areas daily
- Rotate stock to ensure F.I.F.O is followed
- Receipt of all items and verifying packaging slips for correctness prior to receipt
- Place receivers in quarantine awaiting QA release
- Process to stock all non-components or items not requiring QA inspection
- Coordinate and control all return goods activities per procedure
- Train as back-up receiving inspector
- Communicate with Sales department to ensure continuity
- Follow all required ISO regulations as communicated through the Quality Management System
Limits of Authority
- Refuse any incoming shipment due to transportation damage or improper paperwork
- Resolve shipping issues with internal and external customer service departments
- Create Certificate of Compliance and/or Bill of Lading as required for shipment
- Obtain and process freight quotes
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- 1st shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm
