Position Summary

The ERP Senior Analyst & Systems and Software Test Lead is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing ERP systems while leading end-to-end testing strategies across enterprise applications. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions, ensuring system integrity, performance, and successful delivery of enhancements and implementations.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Analysis & Support

• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into ERP system solutions
• Configure, maintain, and optimize ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, etc.)
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ERP functionality and integrations
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with technical teams
• Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements

Testing Leadership

• Lead the design and execution of test strategies including SIT, UAT, regression, and integration testing
• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts
• Coordinate testing efforts across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ensure traceability between requirements and test coverage
• Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver solutions
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops
• Provide regular status updates on testing cycles and ERP initiatives
• Support change management and user adoption efforts

Data & Reporting

• Validate data accuracy across systems and integrations
• Develop reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
• Ensure compliance with data governance and internal controls

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and business workflows
• Recommend automation and testing tools to enhance productivity
• Establish and enforce best practices for ERP usage and testing standards

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Acumatica)
• 7 years of experience leading software/system testing efforts
• Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP implementations or large-scale system upgrades
• Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT)
• Familiarity with integrations, APIs, and data migration
• Certifications in ERP systems or QA/testing (e.g., ISTQB, PMP)

Work Environment

• Hybrid (2 Days remote and 3 days in office. Must be able to commute to Durham, NC)
