Position Overview
Dive Bar and Grille is seeking a fast-paced, detail-oriented Expo/Food Runner to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring food is delivered accurately, quickly, and with great presentation—serving as the link between the kitchen and front-of-house team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all plates are accurate, complete, and meet presentation standards
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate orders
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the expo line during service
- Run food to the correct tables and assist servers as needed
- Keep work areas clean, stocked, and organized
- Help maintain overall flow of service during busy shifts
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays/plates
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
