Position Title: Teacher, Substitute
Department: Instruction
Reports To: Principal
Approved By: Casey County Board of Education Date: February, 2016
SUMMARY: To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Observe the same hours of duty as the regular teacher.
- Observe the rules and regulations of the school.
- Upon arrival, report to the main office to sign a log-in sheet and receive instructions.
- Follow the lesson plans, left by the regular teacher, as closely as possible in order to have no interruptions in the content.
- Maintain discipline in the classroom and supervisory areas.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises classroom and students.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCES: High School diploma and a minimum of 64 college hours that reflects a minimum 2.5 GPA.
