What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at Pulaski County?
Qualifications: Must complete on-line application, provide an official college transcript with the minimum of 64 college credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.5 or a Bachelor's degree. If you do not hold a current KY Teachers Certificate, you will be required to complete the necessary steps to obtain an Emergency Teaching Certificate. This certificate is issued each school year and requires a renewal each year.
Once you have completed the on-line application, you should pick-up a crime check packet from the Board of Education located at 925 N. Main Street, Somerset, Kentucky. Once we recieive the completed crime checks and other required documents, you will receive an email with further instructions. This email will include instructions for obtaining your Emergency Certification. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your paperwork to be processed.
