Substitute Teachers

Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and flexible individuals to join our team as Substitute Teachers across the district. In this role, you will step in for regular teachers on short notice, providing continuity of education and maintaining a positive learning environment for students. Your ability to adapt quickly and effectively will be essential in ensuring that students continue to engage with the curriculum and receive the support they need.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instructional lessons according to the provided lesson plans and educational objectives.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Manage student behavior and respond to any issues that arise in a professional manner.
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including attendance reporting and student assessments.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs of students.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a seamless transition for students during the teacher's absence.

Requirements:

• Minnesota teaching license or short-call substitute license.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain discipline.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in various grade levels and subjects.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.
