What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teachers position at District Wide?
PAY RATE: $158/day
Substitute Teachers provide coverage for educator absences on an as-needed basis throughout the district, grade levels, and content area. Substitute Teachers will follow sub plans, as left by the respective Classroom Teacher. Substitutes can select where, when and how often they want to work, and our district is always looking for subs!
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 Years (60 credits) of college level courses
- Speak clearly, communicate effectively, accurately hear and see
- Complete with precision and safety all physical duties, including upper and lower body functions, reaching, lifting (at least 10-20 lbs.), bending, twisting, stooping, and climbing stairs
- Complete with accuracy eye-hand coordinated tasks
- Maine Dept. of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) or applicable certification with the Dept. of Education
