What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver (Daily Route or Activity) position at District Wide?
Hershey Public Schools operates five daily bus routes and several activity trips each school year. Regular bus routes run twice a day and are paid $58.00 for 1 route or $116.00 for both routes that they drive daily. Typical route hours are from 6:50-7:50 AM & 3:15-4:30 PM. Drivers must possess the ability to obtain school bus certification licensure. CDL Endorsements trainings are paid for by the district. Activity drivers are paid $22.00 an hour for each hour that they are away on activity trips. Benefits include up to single BCBS health/dental insurance, retirement, sick leave and paid holidays.
