Anticipated Paraeducator Positions
Description: Leominster Public Schools - Summer Academy 2026
July 6th through July 30th - (Monday-Thursday - 7:30 am - 12:30 pm) (students 8am-12pm) Paraeducators
Positions: Paraeducator Part-time. Contractual Hourly Rate as of July 1st
Audience: Kindergarten (Current K) through Fifth Grade (Current 5th)
Dates/Times offered - July 6th through July 30th - (M-Th 730am - 12:30pm)
** prefer attendance for all 4 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for classroom teachers to establish and implement theme based humanities and STEM project-based activities weekly
- Provide support for classroom teachers to provide academic instruction drawing on current Elementary School curriculum such as Fundations, IM Math, iREADY supplemental materials, etc.
- Work with students in small groups and individually
- Maintain daily communication with classroom teacher and parents when necessary regarding student and classroom progress
