Anticipated Bilingual Parent Liaison Positions - District-wide - K-12
Description: District-wide support of Summer Programming
Positions: Parent Liaison Part-time. Contractual Hourly Rate as of July 1st
Audience: Kindergarten (Current K) through Fifth Grade (Current 5th), MS/HS Credit Recovery
Dates/Times offered: June 29th through July 30th - (M-Th 730am - 12:30pm)
** prefer attendance for all 5 weeks**
Qualifications:
- Oral and written proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish required
- Related experience interpreting or translating preferred
- Basic knowledge of computers, esp. Google, Word and Excel
- Program runs - June 29th - July 30th - (M-Th- 730am - 12:30pm) * Attendance for all five weeks is strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- The Family Liaison often takes a primary responsibility in contacting families on behalf of the school. Communication between families and the school often occurs at school but can take place throughout the community. This role is an integral part of maintaining a positive relationship between families and the school.
