POSITION SUMMARY |
|
The Youth Athletics Coordinator leads the planning and coordination of K–5 athletic programs across the district. This role works closely with school staff, volunteer coaches, and families to ensure consistent experiences, safe environments, and expanded opportunities for all students to participate in youth sports. |
|

Ensure sport advisory groups are developed and effective. |
|
Coordinate district-wide K–5 athletic programming, including scheduling, league rules, and communication |
|
Support volunteer coaches, ensuring alignment with district philosophy and safety standards |
|
Promote equity and opportunity in participation across all schools |
|
Collaborate with sport and school specific coaches and coordinators |
|
Serve as liaison between schools, families, and community partners |
|
Monitor participation data and program impact |
|
Ensure alignment with district facility use policies and safety guidelines |

Organize advisory group meetings with parents and coaches for program input |
|
