WAGES: Educational Assistant I - $16.50 / hour
Educational Assistant II - $17.30 / hour

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
At the direction of the building administrator, the Educational Assistant assists teachers and Special Education Teachers by performing a variety of tasks that promote student learning and well-being. Duties may involve working with students individually and in small groups, reinforcing instruction, motivating learning, assisting students with disabilities, with behavior management, and other non-instructional work.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE (Minimum Qualifications)
- Have a high school diploma or the equivalent;
- Be at least 18 years of age; and
- Have standards of moral character as required of teachers (OAR 584-005-0005).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working as an educational assistant in a k-12 school district.
