Speech Language Pathologist

3 - 1.0 FTE positions

$2,000 annual professional practices stipend in addition to annual salary.

This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SLP or a candidate completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) to make a meaningful impact on the communication skills and overall development of young learners.

In this role, the Speech and Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and remediate speech and language disorders in students, crafting individualized therapy programs that address a range of needs, including articulation, language processing, fluency, and social communication skills. The SLP will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create an inclusive learning environment that supports students' communication goals.

A key focus of this position is to promote effective communication across all settings within the school. The SLP will provide direct therapy services, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress to ensure positive outcomes. Additionally, the SLP will conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and families, helping them understand speech and language development and strategies to support students outside of therapy sessions.

This position will not involve Medicaid billing, allowing the SLP to focus on the holistic development of each student without the constraints of managed care paperwork. For those completing their Clinical Fellowship, this role offers mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the field, facilitating a supportive learning environment where you can grow your practical skills and knowledge.

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled SLP who possesses a strong understanding of child development and effective therapeutic strategies. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid state license. Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere for all students are essential.

If you are passionate about helping young children develop their communication skills in a collaborative educational setting, we encourage you to apply for the Speech and Language Pathologist position. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our students and supporting their journey towards effective communication!
