What are the responsibilities and job description for the Homemaker position at District Three Governmental Cooperative?
JOB SUMMARY: Under the immediate supervision of the Homemaker Coordinator, the homemaker is responsible for housekeeping and homemaking duties for the client to promote a safe and clean-living environment. Duties to include, but not limited to: Light housekeeping, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, cleaning refrigerator, changing linens on bed, laundry, washing dishes and cleaning bathroom.
The starting pay for this position is $14.41 per hour and 24 hours per week with mileage reimbursement or use of an agency vehicle.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. Experience working with the elderly population preferred. Applicant must hold a current driver’s license and have "zero points or points" driving record. Background screenings & substance abuse testing required.
