Food Service Program Manager
Silver Falls School District is seeking a Food Service Program Manager, reporting to the Director of Student Wellness & Achievement, to lead and oversee the District’s Nutrition Services program. This position provides leadership for USDA compliance, budgeting and procurement, menu planning, food safety, daily operations, staff supervision, and program improvement.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, experience managing programs and budgets, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, families, vendors, and community partners. Experience with USDA Child Nutrition Programs in a public school district is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience in a related field; knowledge of USDA Child Nutrition Programs, food safety, procurement, budgeting, and inventory management; valid Oregon Driver License; and Oregon Food Handler Card or ServSafe and First Aid/CPR certification, or ability to obtain.
