SUBSTITUTE WAREHOUSE DELIVER DRIVER / COURIER NUTRITION SERVICES
LOCATION: Nutrition Services Department

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties of this position include the following. Employees in this position perform some or all of the following tasks. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receive food service freight from delivering carriers, inspect cartons for damage, match shipments with purchase orders, and verify contents for amount and description according to purchase order data.
- Stock and maintain warehouse shelves and racks in a clean and orderly manner according to established procedures.
- Maintain warehouse records as required.
- Maintain up-to-date warehouse inventory and carry out physical inventories on periodic bases.
- Distribute food and supplies to school as required.
- Assist Nutrition Supervisor and Nutrition Services Secretary on special projects as assigned.
- Deliver and distribute materials for the District Print shop, and perform other duties as required.
- Order products via vendor and government websites.
- Produce and work with MS Excel, Word, and Publisher documents.
- Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
- Fulfill performance standards identified in the evaluation process as required by the position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Relate well to suppliers, students, staff and public.
- Read, understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.
- Adhere to the federal requirements of a drug-free work place.
- Accurately transfer, record and convey information, materials and money, as required by the position.
- Possess or be able to obtain an Oregon Driver's License.
- Possess or be able to obtain an Oregon Food Handlers card.
- Carry out required tasks independently, without direct scheduling or supervision.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Length of Work Year: 238 Days. Length of Work Day: 8 hours.
- Possess the physical ability to regularly attend work and fulfill the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Travel within district, outside, even during times of inclement weather.
- Lift, move, and carry objects weighing 60 lbs.
- Responsibilities may require the employee to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
