District Partners has been retained to identify a Senior FP&A Analyst for one of the fastest-growing independent wealth and investment management platforms in the country.

This organization has built a nationally recognized business serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions through a highly strategic, client-centric model. With significant national expansion underway and continued momentum through both organic growth and acquisitions, the firm is making substantial investments in infrastructure, analytics, and financial decision-making capabilities.

As part of that evolution, the organization is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded finance professional to join its Forecasting, Planning & Analysis team. This role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and executive decision support. The Senior FP&A Analyst will partner closely with leadership across the business to drive forecasting, reporting, planning, and performance analysis initiatives that directly influence operational and strategic outcomes.

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, highly analytical, and capable of translating complex financial information into actionable business insights. This is an opportunity for someone who wants meaningful visibility, direct exposure to executive leadership, and the ability to influence decision-making inside a rapidly scaling organization.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Delivers accurate, actionable forecasting and financial analysis that improves decision-making across the organization
  • Establishes strong credibility and partnership with executive and operational leadership
  • Identifies trends, risks, and opportunities proactively and helps leadership respond effectively
  • Enhances reporting infrastructure, forecasting processes, and analytical capabilities
  • Helps improve operational efficiency and financial visibility across the enterprise
  • Becomes a trusted strategic finance partner within a rapidly growing organization

What You'll Do:

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts, budgeting models, and long-range planning analyses
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes across multiple business units and operating segments
  • Perform variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting business performance
  • Partner with leadership to improve forecasting accuracy and support strategic decision making

Business Performance & Strategic Analysis

  • Analyze key business drivers including revenue, profitability, client segmentation, operational performance, and growth metrics
  • Evaluate historical trends, operational data, and financial performance to support short- and long-term business planning
  • Develop business cases and financial analyses related to strategic initiatives, headcount investments, and operational expansion
  • Monitor performance against plan and proactively identify areas requiring leadership attention

Executive Reporting & Decision Support

  • Prepare executive-level reporting materials, dashboards, presentations, and performance summaries
  • Translate financial data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for senior leadership
  • Support ad hoc strategic analyses and cross-functional initiatives as business needs evolve
  • Ensure integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial data utilized across the organization

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted business partner to operational and executive stakeholders across the firm
  • Collaborate closely with finance, operations, leadership, and other internal teams to support enterprise initiatives
  • Help improve reporting infrastructure, financial processes, and internal workflows
  • Stay informed on industry trends and support benchmarking and market analysis initiatives

What You'll Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or related analytical roles
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management, investment management, professional services, or other complex multi-entity environments strongly preferred
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
  • Experience working with ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and planning tools such as NetSuite, SAP, Hyperion, Essbase, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong presentation skills in PowerPoint
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of financial and operational data into meaningful business insights
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting processes, and forecasting methodologies
  • Experience preparing executive-facing materials and presentations
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is a plus

Preferred:

  • You are intellectually curious, analytical, and commercially minded.
  • You enjoy solving problems, identifying trends, and helping leadership teams make better decisions through data-driven insights. You are equally comfortable building detailed financial models and presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve quickly and collaboration is essential. You bring strong business judgment, high attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
  • Most importantly, you understand that great FP&A professionals do more than report numbers — they help shape the strategic direction of the business.

Why This Role:

  • This organization operates with the sophistication of a large institution while maintaining the agility and entrepreneurial energy of a high-growth business.
  • The culture is collaborative, performance-oriented, and deeply strategic. Leadership values individuals who can think critically, operate independently, and partner effectively across functions to solve complex business problems.
  • Unlike traditional finance environments where FP&A operates solely as a reporting function, this team is viewed as a true strategic partner to the business. The work is highly visible and directly tied to growth initiatives, operational performance, market expansion, and long-term planning.
  • For the right individual, this role offers substantial runway for growth, exposure to executive leadership, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a business in the midst of significant national expansion.
