District Partners has been engaged on a confidential search for a Senior Finance Manager to join a growing manufacturing organization undergoing significant operational and systems transformation.
This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, Operations, and ERP systems, focused on improving financial accuracy, operational reporting, inventory controls, and manufacturing processes across the business. The organization is seeking someone who is analytical, resourceful, operationally minded, and comfortable navigating a growing environment where systems, processes, and reporting structures continue to evolve.
This is not a siloed accounting role. The ideal candidate will enjoy rolling up their sleeves, collaborating cross-functionally, and helping connect the dots across finance, production, inventory, and systems.
What You'll Do:
- Support and optimize ERP and financial systems within a manufacturing environment
- Analyze production workflows from receiving through shipping to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
- Identify process gaps and help drive automation and workflow improvements
- Partner with operations and leadership to improve data integrity and system utilization
- Lead standard costing, margin analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing reporting initiatives
- Improve product costing methodologies and operational reporting accuracy
- Analyze manufacturing variances, inventory movement, and production metrics
- Support month-end close and financial reporting tied to manufacturing operations
- Collaborate closely with production, warehouse, and operational teams to strengthen financial controls and inventory processes
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to support decision-making
What You'll Have:
- Experience in a manufacturing or process manufacturing environment (food & beverage, chemical, pharma, cosmetics, etc.)
- Strong background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and operational finance
- ERP implementation, optimization, or systems improvement experience
- Ability to operate independently and solve problems in a growing, evolving environment
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect operational activity to financial impact
- Excellent communication skills across finance, operations, and production teams
- Advanced Excel skills required; experience with SQL, Power BI, Access, or similar reporting tools strongly preferred
