Job Summary:
The Support Technologist III is a vital and supportive member of the PCSD team, working collaboratively with educators, support staff, and administration to achieve the shared goal of ensuring all students receive the education they need to succeed both today and tomorrow. This role is performed within a office and classroom environment, overseen by Director of Technology Support Services, where teamwork and dedication to student success are paramount.
All staff are expected to fully adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, continuously demonstrating a strong understanding of the tasks and responsibilities their roles require. Moreover, they must embody the core belief that every action we take is driven by a commitment to the best interests of our students.

Qualifications & Knowledge: |
· Bachelor's Degree in Information/Computer Science from a College/University preferred. Combination of College/University/Technical College education and work experience may be substituted · Technical certifications, training, and experience to demonstrate knowledge and abilities listed below · Minimum of five (5) years experience in a technical service-related field · Advanced knowledge and skills in computer maintenance, network protocols and hardware, technology project planning, technology operations and maintenance, quality assurance, and technical documentation · Knowledge and work to include cybersecurity and cyber safety best practices · Team and/or project management experience preferred |

Provides primary and escalated technology support for multiple schools, sites, users, and technology team members, including oversight of technology support work as assigned, with projects, applications, hardware, and standard classroom and office technology equipment including but not limited to multiple computer models, printers, phones, and interactive flat panels |

Supports Area Lead Technologists in the oversight of school and site support including the support of Support Technologist II and Customer Care duties and tasks |

Develops, deploys maintains, and supports the release of new and existing technologies for PC/server/network device hardware, operating systems and enterprise applications including research, design, recommendations, installation, configuration, integration testing, troubleshooting and security |

Responsible for assigned roles of system administration and support of enterprise level and other designated hardware and software applications including but not limited to network devices, vendor applications, and enterprise Microsoft enterprise solutions |
