Support Provided
-District Office will provide licensure courses for Property, Casualty, Life and Health - at no cost to you
- District Office will provide training for all sales, marketing, product knowledge, and customer care solutions
- Agency will provide an ample amount of leads to be worked, including internet leads, telemarketer leads, and in-house leads

Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Licensing:
Must hold relevant state insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health) or be willing to obtain them within a specified timeframe.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales
- Experience in outside sales and retail sales environments
- Familiarity with customer service principles and practices
- Ability to be coachable and take initiative
- Experienced with popular computer software (MS products, etc.)

Responsibilities
Program Details:
- Trained to sell Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance
- You will obtain your insurance producer licensed in Property, Casualty, Life and Health from the state of MN
- 6-12 months in the program (Time is based upon each person individually)
- Work closely with the Agent to gain an understanding of the Agent role
- Work closely with your District Office to gain coaching and mentoring for the Agent role
- Will be provided with leads and clientele to help generate sales
- Immersed into the Farmers Insurance culture and the insurance industry as a whole
- Generate leads an actively pursue new business opportunities
- Contact 10-15 prospects per day via phone
- Gather and qualify lead information for each household
- Prepare sales quotes and presentations
- Follow-up with prospects and customers
- Meet with customers face-to-face and/or via phone for sales presentations
- Setup and establish new household accounts
