Role Description
The Public Space Committee Manager will oversee and coordinate the operations of the Public Space Committee within DDOT's Public Space Regulation Division. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing public space applications, managing committee meetings, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to regulations and policies. Other tasks include conducting evaluations of public space usage, analyzing data to inform decision-making, and collaborating with relevant agencies to facilitate public projects.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Management and Space Planning with experience in optimizing public spaces effectively
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess public space usage data and provide actionable insights
- Experience in Program Management, including managing meetings, coordinating projects, and collaborating with stakeholders
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and effectively present recommendations
- Familiarity with urban planning or public policy is advantageous
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, Transportation Planning, or related field preferred
