Warehouse Assistant, Valley Cottage, NY
Rapidly expanding manufacturing and trading business based in Valley cottage, NY, selling its patented systems, both directly and through distributors, to its customers in across the United States, now wishes to recruit a Warehouse Operative
We are keen to hear from enthusiastic, motivated, and hard-working individuals with warehouse experience.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate should (but not essential) have a Forklift licence.
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Cleaning of glass using our purposely designed glass cleaning machine
- Prepare glass for washing.
- separating glass into two types
- scraping excess wax from glasses
- Insert baskets of glass into two machines to clean.
- Once all glass is clean, drain & clean machines.
- Ad hoc warehouse duties:
- Preparing of daily orders of candles to leave with UPS (48lbs boxes)
- Preparing votive stands for shipping involving but not limited to:
- Loading LTL shippers when they come to collect orders.
- Maintain clean, tidy, organised warehouse.
- Unloading 40HC containers once a month

Job Type: Part-time
