We're looking for a hybrid
Sales Consultant/Estimatorwho can guide homeowners from consultation through proposal, bringing both relationship intelligence and detail-driven estimating to the process. This is ideal for someone who prefers a consultant-style sale (not high pressure), but still wants measurable results and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Run in-home consultations and discovery conversations
Educate homeowners on scope options, value decisions, and next steps
Manage pipeline follow-up and maintain organized notes and records
Align client expectations with production realities (scope/timeline/budget)
Build accurate scopes of work and detailed estimates
Develop clear, professional proposals that clients can understand
Coordinate with production/design to validate feasibility and approach
Reduce surprises by tightening assumptions and documenting details early
Qualifications
Experience in residential remodeling sales and/or estimating
Strong understanding of remodeling sequencing, materials, and client expectations
Excellent communication ability to explain details simply
High attention to detail and documentation
Able to manage multiple opportunities at once with consistent follow-through
Valid driver's license; comfortable traveling locally
Ideally, within a ~40-minute commute of Greater Raleigh
Estimating/proposal software experience
CRM discipline and strong pipeline hygiene
Comfortable with DISC-style dynamics (we value team communication fit)

Compensation & Benefits
Full-time, W-2 position
Base salary plus commission; typical total earnings: $120,000 to $150,000 , depending on role mix (sales-only vs hybrid) and production
