A well-established CPA firm in South Jersey is looking for a Tax Manager who can step into a senior client-facing role now and develop toward future equity ownership.
This is a broad, hands-on tax position working directly with business owners, HNW individuals and closely held companies rather than being boxed into one specialist area.
The work will include:
• 1040, 1065, 1120-S and 1120 returns
• Trusts and estate-related tax work
• HNW individuals and business owners
• Closely held and family-owned businesses
• Tax planning and advisory
• Reviewing complex returns
• Managing client relationships
• Supporting and developing junior staff
• Working directly with the Partners on more complex planning work
Clients span industries including real estate, manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, retail and professional services.
What they’re looking for:
• Strong public accounting background
• Tax Manager or experienced Supervisor ready to step up
• CPA strongly preferred
• Broad generalist tax experience
• Comfortable owning client relationships
• Someone who wants a long-term home and the opportunity to progress into Partner / equity
This is particularly suited to someone who wants to move beyond simply reviewing returns and start building toward real ownership within a CPA firm.
